8 Reasons Why Moms Are Falling In Love
With The 4Runner
by Bill Flitter
My family is very close to buying a new SUV, but we are still not completely convinced which new vehicle to buy. We are seriously considering either the Honda CRV, the Honda Pilot, or maybe the Toyota 4Runner. We know the Honda’s are nice, because we’ve been driving a Pilot for over 10 years now, but we’ve also started hearing a lot of great things about the 4Runner. These are Toyota 4Runner Reviews 2017 that have helped us decide.
The thing about the 4Runner is, it very much looks like you’re driving a tough, rugged truck. And that makes perfect sense, because the original 4Runner was basically a pickup truck, and when it became an SUV, it wasn’t much more than a pickup with a shell over the cargo area.
But times have changed and to some the 4Runner is considered the family vehicle. So, what is it that mom’s love about the Toyota 4Runner?

Power Back Window
For starters, you can power up and down the back window, which might not sound like a big deal, but the 4Runner is the only SUV in its class that has this feature.
It must be nice to simply lower the window to add and remove items. You don’t have to keep opening and closing the tailgate.
Another reason mom’s love the Toyota 4Runner is the smooth ride, which some claim rides better than a Lexus. Plus, the 20 inch alloy wheels look gorgeous! The spacious cabin provides plenty of room and the second row seating is no exception.
Sometimes it can be tough parking a large vehicle, especially parallel parking or getting into or out of a tight spot. In those cases, moms love the parking assist feature that comes with the 4Runner.
The front and rear parking assist sonar helps to make parking a smooth task.
For some families, it’s hard to agree on something, like temperature control. A great feature that mom’s love about the 4Runner is the dual zone heat and air conditioner.
I know my wife loves freezing cold air blasting on her while I prefer a more mild 72 degrees. In our case, the dual zone climate control comes in very handy.
For those living in colder climates, the Windshield Wiper De-Icer is a cool feature. It can come in handy, especially when it snows! And if it’s snowing, you’ll most likely appreciate the heated seats as well! It makes sense why moms love the 4Runner and why the Toyota 4Runner Reviews 2017 are so great.
Sometimes moms just love natural sunlight. That’s where the moon roof comes into play. The moon roof allows natural sunlight to come into the truck and fill the cabin with light.
The Toyota 4Runner rides pretty high up off the ground, which can make getting into and out of the vehicle kind of tricky for those with short legs. If you’re a mom that’s short of stature, then running boards would make for a great accessory.
They provide a nice step for getting into and out of the SUV and they work great for kids too!
When discussing features that mom’s love, you can’t forget about safety. The Toyota 4Runner has a 4-star overall vehicle score.
It has a government safety rating of a 4-star frontal driver, 5-star side crash, and 3-star rollover. These are important factors for Toyota 4Runner Reviews 2017.
The car features a star safety system with vehicle stability control. It also includes traction control, anti-lock brakes, brake assist, and smart stop technology. There are airbags located throughout the car including TAP side and knee airbags, and all row-sensing side curtain airbags.
The JBL sound system will have mom’s and kids belting out their favorite songs. Speakers are found throughout the car, so the kids in the back won’t be yelling to turn it up while mom is getting blasted in the front.
Over To You
This won’t be an easy decision to make on which new SUV to buy, but at least now we have more information! Hopefully these Toyota 4Runner Reviews 2017 will help you decide on your next car.
